column to balcony

Hello, when I analyze my balcony opening of 2.5 m in the two-storey villa project, the floor thickness is 20 cm. I want to solve it with a floor thickness of 15 cm. Therefore, can I put a round column on the corner point of the balcony and connect it to the main system without connecting it with a beam? When I try, the floor thickness does not change, it still shows 20 cm, can I make beer like that or I don't know the settings

Hello, In the thickness control, the program calculates along the account axis. If you want to change the span, click on the account axis with the account axis edit. From this section, you can enter the opening to be checked for thickness. In addition, since you do not connect the columns you will put on the console to the system, we can consider that part as a beamless slab. In this case, the slab thickness should be at least 18 cm.

What I don't understand is that the balcony is connected to the beam, and when I do a column-free analysis at a distance of 2.50 m from the beam, its thickness is 21 m. When I put a column without beams on the corners, the same value does not change, I wonder if it does not see the column? I put a column after throwing it in the dossier, is there a different method?

Hi, The program calculates along the axis of the calculation in the thickness control. However, in such cases, you have to manually enter the clear span value, since you do not connect the columns to the system.
