Column resting on beam

Hello, Article 2.3.2.4 (b) (b) in the Earthquake Code" In case the column rests on a beam with support from both ends, the other beam joining the joint points of this beam in all sections of the beam and also in the earthquake direction taken into consideration, and In all sections of the columns, all internal force values, which are formed by the combined effect of vertical loads and earthquake, will be increased by 50%." He says it can be done. The program also calculates this. BUT DON'T DO IT UNLESS YOU HAVE TO. Link to using the program on this topic (6.01 ver). viewtopic.php?f=5&t=363&p=2199&hilit=kiri%C5%9Fe+sitting+column#p2195 Ünver ÖZCAN

Thank you for your answers. I'm against it anyway, I just came across it in the inspection somewhere, I wanted to ask :) I encounter it more often in masonry buildings with lower floors reinforced concrete and upper floors. The effect of the vertical beam is not important
