Hello everyone, when the column stirrup tightening is done throughout the entire floor, it will help us in loading combinations, for example, will it help to reduce the force on the axis? Secondly, what does the column main axis mean? Thank you everyone, good work Regards..

The tightening conditions are given in TDY 2007 item 3.3.4. It has no effect on the design axial force and axial force capacity. The main axes of the column are the major and minor axis of the column. Column Reinforced Concrete dialog/End Force Diagrams can be viewed on the tab. Good work

Hello Mr. Levent. What is the principal axis of the beam. Thank you for your interest
Axes are used to determine the normal and shear stresses in the cross-section of columns, beams, etc. The axes that give the stress value are called the principal axes. The shear stress in the principal axes is 0. This situation changes not according to the column and beam, but according to the point where these forces act on the cross section, with the Normal force and bending moment on the cross section. -For Beam; For Column ; In a rectangular cross-section column under the influence of axial force, the main axis corresponds to the axes indicated by numbers 2 and 3.
