Coating loads

Hello, When I covered my project in the link, the build period from 0.80s increased to 1.90 and almost no section is saved. What are your suggestions? In terms of economy, I cannot enlarge the sections. Is there a problem in my design and data entry?

Re: Coating loads.. Hello; 1- There is a modeling error in purlins in your project. Not all purlins appear to be divided by intersections. The purlins also overlap columns and beams, edit the offset distances in the purlin menu and divide the purlins at all intersections. 2- Do not include lovers in the analysis model. 3- Arrange the number of your diagonals as 2 or 3 instead of 1 in a range. 4- Model the stability beam along the entire x line of the structure so that it is at the same level as the braces in the ridge regions. 5- Some of your openings are too much for the belts, insert wind columns in between. Good work.

Re: Coating loads.. Ms. Nurgül, first of all, thank you for your interest. I made the adjustments you said and I think there is still not enough improvement in the build period 1.4 levels. What are your suggestions? In another article, you wrote that if we enter the coating wind loads ourselves, the program will take those loads into account. Is it better to do so, or should the program automatically analyze according to ts 498 or ts en 1991?

Re: Coating loads.. Hello; It will be more appropriate to use the same pipe profile as the crosses for your stability beams. In these beams, you can model their junction with a cross-end joint. The spacing of your purlins is 260 cm. Depending on the type of your coating, this number of purlins may not be reasonable. The period of your structure is all about stability on the roof, it would be good to increase the cross section in your main beams. For wind loads, you can use the values calculated by the program with TS 498. If the engineers who will control your project especially want to see the TS EN, you can make the calculations and effect on the coating. In the attached project, I increased the number of purlins, but increase the cross-sections of your main beams, model the cross-sections of your cross beams in the same way and the cross-sections of your stability beams as the crosses. After these changes, the period of the structure will be suitable enough. Good work.

Re: Coating loads.. Hello Nurgül Hanım, I changed the project a little and also changed the materials, now all sections are saving, except for a few beams, they are not saving very much. The period can also be tried at the desired level. I have attached the project, I would like to know if you have any suggestions. Thank you for your interest.

Re: Coating loads.. Hello; The structure seems to be suitable for periods in terms of stability. Removing the deficiencies will solve the problem. Good work.

Hello Nurgül,

the project in the link is a finished project, the drawings have also been made, but it gives an error for lovers when receiving reports However, as you said, I did not add the lovers to the system, should I take this error into account? Good luck with.
