Building Control Beam Span

Hello, although there is no such clause in the Earthquake Code 7.4 Beam Cross-section conditions, Yapı Inspection says that it will not approve beams with a span of more than 7 m. Do they have such a right? My beams have also been checked for deflection calculations at 8.50m span (30x50).

TS500 item 13.2 Table 13.1 The Ratios (Height / Span) That Do Not Require Deflection Calculations in Bending Elements Simple beam for beam L/10 = 850/10 = 85 cm. Side opening L/12 = 850/12 = 71 cm. Inner opening L/15 = 850/15 = 57 cm..

Thank you mate. Only I have already activated the deflection calculation option and there is no problem in my report about it. Am I still wrong like this?

In TBDY 2018 and TS 500, there is no sanction stating that "beams with a beam opening greater than this cannot be constructed". Height/Span Ratios that do not require deflection calculation in Table 13.1 Deflection limits that can be allowed in the elements in Table 13.3 Deflection controls made according to TS 500 can be found in the Beam Reinforced Concrete dialog and In addition, you can examine the beam elastic and cracked section deflection values from the perspective window.

The building control was busy. 7.5 meters is not a very serious clearance. Just like 30x50 at 7.5 meters, check if the reinforcement fits.
