Beam Split and Join

Hello, ide8 has been changed in the element division process in ide7. Is it necessary to divide the beams or combine them according to the attached formwork plan? How should we choose division and merging? In the example, the K04 beam is cantilevered, but the stud.

Hi Depends on how you want to do the reinforcement. Division/non-split is related to whether the beam names are given differently or not. It is not strictly related to the 3D model and analysis results, it is only related to reinforcement. Same explanation for beams we call cantilever Referring to a beam as cantilever indicates that the beam is cantilevered. For example, between S4-S2 you have attempted as K35 and K36. K35 and K36 will not be equipped as one. They will be equipped as two beams. K22 will be equipped as a single beam. Reinforcing K4 as a cantilever beam of the beam Change/Object Edit/Beam-base/Ko You can say "not console" with the nsollar command.

The reinforcement of K4 as a cantilever is related to the moment distribution of the beam. You can say "not a cantilever" with the command Modify/Object Edit/Beam-foundation/Consoles.
What kind of change does this make in the calculation? when the option is clicked? In the question about the basic combination I asked before, can it actually be linked to this topic? With the same logic, I should tick the option not console?

Any changes to accounts it doesn't happen. It does not affect the analysis, you just change the way of reinforcement. The main thing is the 3D model. Examine moment diagrams. The same applies to your questions in the link you provided. Other answers given by Ünver have also explained the subject... Good work.
