Basement fill

Re: FILLING ON THE BODRUM FLOOR If there is an earth filling on the raft foundation, it can be added as a coating load by entering the raft flooring properties. In the control of soil stresses, the effect of soil fill weight is also taken into account.

Re: FILLING IN THE BODRUM FLOOR I'm going to put a constant load on the raft foundation, but it seems like I'm calculating too much. The unit volume weight of the earth fill is 1.9 t/m3. If the fill height is 2.28 m; It makes 1.9 X 2.28=4.332 t/m2. Isn't that a lot of load?

The value you calculated is correct according to the 2.28 m soil height...

Re: FILLING IN THE BODRUM FLOOR The load can be reduced by using other material with less unit weight instead of soil.
