Adding new wall and cladding loads to the load library

Programs: ideCAD Static Version: 6.xx / 7.xx Topic: Adding a new wall and cladding load to the load library 1- Adding a Wall Load 2- Adding a Covering Load 3- Adding a Live Load 4- Using the Added Loads in All Projects 1- Click Add Wall Load -> Settings/Load Library. -> Click the Beam Load Library tab in the dialog that opens. -> Add a new line by pressing the New button under Beam Load Name and change the name of the line as it should be. -> You can add new layers if necessary by clicking the New button under beam load layers. -> Enter the wall height and unit load of the layer for each layer you add. -> The program will automatically calculate the loads for all the layers you enter and collect them all and write them in the Load Value section. Exit the dialog by pressing the -> OK button. You can now see the load you added in the list when defining loads on your beams. 2- Add Overlay Payload -> Click on Settings/Load Library line. -> Click the Slab Load Library tab in the dialog that opens. -> Add a new line by pressing the New button under the Slab Load Name and change the name of the line as it should be. -> You can add new layers if necessary by clicking the New button under slab load layers. -> Enter the thickness and unit load of the layer for each layer you add. -> The program will automatically calculate the loads for all the layers you enter and collect them all and write them in the Load Value section. Exit the dialog by pressing the -> OK button. You can now see the load you added in the list when defining the load for your floors. 3- Add Live Load -> Click on Settings/Load Library line. -> Click the Live Load Library tab in the dialog that opens. -> Add a new line by pressing the New button and change the name of the line as it should be. -> Type the value you want in the Load value section. -> Exit the dialog by pressing OK. The live load you define will appear in your list while defining loads on beams and slabs. 4- Availability of Added Loads in All Projects In order for your loads added to the load library to be listed in all the projects you will work with, you must save the project file that you have defined these loads as a template. To create a template project, save your file in the C:\Program Files\ideCAD\ideCAD Static 7\Templates\structural\example folder. After saving the file to the specified location, you can now select your template from the list when opening a new project.
