hello.. According to tbdy 2018, opening gaps in curtains (such as windows) can be realized if the gap rates specified in the regulation are provided. My question will be: I couldn't see a statement in the regulation that 'the curtains that continue on all floors continuously cannot be opened, only the basement curtain can be opened'.

Hello, gap boundary conditions are specified in TBDY 2018 article 7.6.9.
no gap can be opened in the curtains that continue on all floors continuously, only a gap can be opened in the basement curtain'
ask the friend who claims this to apply to AFAD for the removal of article 7.6.9. As I understand from the feedbacks on "curtain/space" from the control mechanisms in general, the boundary conditions in this article are also required for basement curtains... although it is not clearly written, if you read the 7.6 title from beginning to end (or have it read to the control) this section is only for earthquake curtains. You can see it is valid. The clearance distances given in 7.6.9 are for small spaces such as shafts and windows. If you want to put a door or a large window, you cannot easily provide this item. My advice is to use curtains with gaps... I recommend that you do not lean the gaps in basement curtains (usually tape windows) to columns... other than that, you don't have any restrictions. good work, best regards.
