Indeed, ide cad is a static program of good quality, but I think the more important thing here is not to model a building, but as Hakan has mentioned, push over (push over analysis and time history analysis) gives us more realistic values. After making the static calculation of an existing building or a new building, I think it is absolutely necessary to perform push over and time history analysis. because we can have clearer information about the behavior of our building. It clearly shows us which elements have cases such as collapse, leakage or plastic jointing and helps us to take the necessary measures. A building may have been designed incorrectly or it may be in accordance with the earthquake regulations of that day, but it may not be suitable now. By doing push over analysis, we can have information about the behavior of our building.
