Hello, for a column with a column size of 50*50 cm and a height of 4 meters; After clicking on the column section under the analysis and design tab, Ni: -2.5 is displayed for the G dead load line in the forces and reinforcements tab in the window that appears. According to my account; It becomes 0.5*0.5*4*25=25 kN. Why is it 2.5 and why is it calculated negative? Where does the calculation of the Negative column of Ni come from and what does it mean?
 
Hello, Since your working unit is tf in the program, this value is calculated as 2.5 tf. Being negative indicates the direction of the value. Since the pressure force is in the (-)Z direction, the value of -2.5 tf is printed here. Good work.
