According to ts 500, beams with a web height greater than 600 mm shall have at least the amount of web reinforcement determined by Equation 7.6. This reinforcement shall be arranged equally on both sides of the body, from bars with a diameter of at least 10 mm and bar spacing not exceeding 300 mm. Question: Do we have to add body reinforcement in 600 mm beams?

It is the condition written in the TS500 you mentioned, and since it says greater than 600mm, it is not necessary to put body reinforcement on beams with a height of 600mm. Otherwise, the body reinforcement is not required. height should be 600mm or greater. When combined with TDY 2007 ( 3.4.1.1 (c) and 3.4.2.5), the body reinforcement cannot be less than 12 mm in diameter in seismic zones.
