Dear Colleagues Hello, In a project that I am solving the statics of, I have a maximum beam length of 790 cm and accordingly 57 m2 and 49 m2 flooring areas. I have attached the project for full understanding, so I can solve the system in this way, but I am not comfortable with the architectural plan. I want you to share your information and comments ... thank you in advance.(b+z+4)

Re: 790 cm beam length, 57 m2 floor area and stud dirt Hello My suggestions; --Make the elevator curtains group curtains, --Include the elevator machinery flooring in the modeling, --Do not make a single cantilever beam that does not have a continuation from the column, lift it, --1. remove basement rigidity tick, --two loading 4.8.5.1.. tick, --don't let beam protrude from narrow edge of curtain P03, --1. If there is a shop on the basement floor, take the live loads of 0.500 t/m2, --Model the ladder, support it and solve it together with the structure, --Make the widths of all finite elements 0.25 m in the final calculation and add the calculation. In this case, you correct the error (B) in the columns. Unver ÖZCAN

Re: 790 cm beam length, 57 m2 floor area and stud dirt Ünver, first of all, thank you for your answers, I will implement what you said.... but it still makes me think; - the length of the beam is so long (790 cm) - the beams with such a large span are studded (4 studs in total) - the floor area is this much (over 50 m2 ...) how do you think the project in general, apart from the corrections you mentioned? (column beam dimensions...etc) can I submit this project with peace of mind? i need courage frankly...thanks in advance

Re: 790 cm beam length, 57 m2 floor area and stud dirt No problem for me. If I saw something that should be warned, I would write it, Ünver ÖZCAN
