Hello, can we import 3d dwg with 3d features into İdecad? There is an option to import 3D objects in the help menu, but it does not appear in the program menu. I would be glad if you help. Good work.

Hello, 3D DWG import is not possible in ideCAD Static. If you want to use it for modelling. By importing 2D DWG architectural plans, column and axis drawings can be converted to ideCAD Objects by using the "Read 2D Architectural Project" command in the Tools tab. ideCAD Architecture can also be imported in 3DS and OBJ formats, not for analysis but only for viewing as a solid model. If you write for what purpose you want to use it, maybe we can give more detailed information. The situation you specified in the help document will be corrected.

Thank you Yasin for the reply. I'm going to base a machine platform. The company prepared the drawings in 3D. By making use of this drawing, curtain foundation etc. I was wondering if you could automatically create elements like this and use them in analysis. good work.

Cannot use 3D DWG drawings to create reinforced concrete elements. With the DWG/DXF (as structure) command under import for ideCAD Steel, 3D drawings can be imported and steel profiles can be assigned.
