Risk analysis of reinforced buildings

Good Work. Will it be possible to conduct risk analysis of retrofitted buildings in the near future? We are currently conducting risk analysis of buildings that were moderately damaged and strengthened in the 1999 earthquake. In addition, in some buildings, we encounter columns resting on cantilever beams. In accordance with the regulation, we also carry out surveys on these floors. In such cases, what are the points to be considered in terms of the program when making risk analysis?

Hello there; Columns seated on cantilever beams are referred to as "Vertical irregularity" in the Regulation. For this reason, this subject is included in the ANNEX-A section of the 2018 regulation on PRINCIPLES REGARDING THE DETECTION OF RISKY STRUCTURES. This situation should be taken into account in the building model. Afterwards, analysis will be made according to APPENDIX-C, APPENDIX-D and APPENDIX-E in the program. In this case, discontinuity is also taken into account. It is among our notes to make risky building analysis in mantle columns. We cannot give time for this, but when it is done, the version published on the forum site will be indicated in the list provided with the link. Best regards...

Thank you Mr. Oğuzcan Actually, I wanted to ask this. Is there a special calculation method for columns with discontinuity according to RYTEIE? and is this implemented in idecad?
